How To Use A Ringtone.

I am not bashing people who have MP3’s for ringtone, i am simply baffled on that what is the logic behind it is. I think it’s easier to immediately associate a song with someone they know rather than the default  ringtones thus provided by the company owners of  particular cell phone. Sometimes people use different ringtones allotted to their specific contact list that helps them if their phone isn’t within their  immediate reach so then they will get to know who is calling without looking at it.

Not that they use any of that default ringtone with what their phone came with, but sure that’s part of the reasoning. Some people opt for not be be physically tied to their phone in the least times.

Ringtones went popular when most phones could only play a midi file as ringtone. Soon after when most of the phones had the ability to use a mp3 or m4r file. Once smartphones were released, and you could put any music or pictures or (later) video onto your phone from your PC, people just started using their favorite songs as ringtones.

No need to buy some shitty frog for a ringtone when you can literally put any song you own onto your phone.
